    About the role

    To procure and schedule direct materials to Premiere to meet production and customer requirements

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Daily / weekly issue of orders to suppliers

    2. Issue of monthly / quarterly supplier forecasts

    3. Maintain relationship with key suppliers – daily & weekly

    4. Monitor and report on supplier delivery performance – daily / weekly / monthly

    5. Purchase Orders issued in line with Premiere sign-off authorisation limits

    6. Operate to Premiere Purchasing processes and controls – Sage / Invoice sign-off etc.

    a. Inventory levels

    b. Purchase Price Variance

    c. Supplier Delivery Performance

    d. Materials availability

    2. Knowledge, Skills, Behaviours

    a. Knowledge of Sage Purchasing module

    b. Able to communicate effectively with suppliers

    c. Operate cross functionally and all levels within the organisation

    d. Identify areas of improvement

    e. Experience of operating within kanban environment

    3. Cost Awareness

    a. Monitor PO / Invoices prices for correctness

    b. Manage material schedule in line with requirements – JIT philosophy

    c. Operate within inventory targets

    4. Commercial Judgement

    a. Able to assess potential suppliers capability – cost and service

    b. Assess value of supplier offering. Challenge peripheral costs – transport etc

    c. Awareness of impact of terms and conditions – payment terms

    5. People

    a. Understand customer requirements and translate these to action

    What we are looking for:

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Strong IT skills are essential, to include Sage and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Experience in a similar role is preferable with knowledge of procurement processes

    Ideally educated to A level standard, or equivalent
